What to do in November

Little Leaf Rakers

November tasks in the garden and landscape.

Leaves are nature’s gift to the gardener. Rake these up and keep them on your property. I also accept leaves from my neighbor’s yards as well. It’s amazing how many leaves my landscape (and composters) consume in a year.

It is also a great month to winterize your beds, the lawn is due for its final fertilizer application, and plant trees and other perennials.

On those wet and cold days, cozy up in the house with a mug of something hot ☕ and leverage the time to design new landscape features.

What do you like to do in November?
