For too many years, I’ve headed out into the garden only to realize I missed key dates. Oh, I needed to start these “fall crops” in July? These wildflower seeds needed to be sowed in the October? Oops, the apple tree is blooming, I missed the pruning window. The soil would be so much better if I had put that bed in last fall. Finally, with one regret too many, I decided to write it all down.
