Roses and blueberries are almost ready to burst forth with new spring growth. To get them growing and producing beautiful blooms and berries they both require heavy pruning.

Beautiful rose in your photo! I’ve struggled to grow hybrid roses here in my seattle garden – maybe soil is too dry and sandy in spite of 30+ yrs of composting/etc. The only roses I can grow successfully are species roses :)!
